Cuvée Wine Cellars, located on Washington Street, is open to the city’s residents for private tastings, as well as private events — but you can also catch them during tasting room hours. Sit among the wine-stained barrels and twinkling fairy lights and discover why this winery has a list of accolades celebrating its wines.
 

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

San Carlos has no shortage of food options that will leave you wanting more. The Refuge specializes in East Coast street food classics like their famous Philly Cheesesteaks.  While you’re having a bite, Refuge also offers Belgian and Craft beer on draught. Take your tastebuds on a tour of the East Coast by stopping by for a meal with your family and friends.
 
If you prefer to dine alfresco, Stamp Bar & Grill is a perfect choice. This grill grabs all the freshest ingredients to bring you plates like truffle gnocchi, paella, and oxtail stew.
 

Things to Do

After a meal, there’s no better way to walk it off than by visiting a local park. If you’re lucky enough to be in San Carlos in the summer, you can catch the Music in the Park Concert Series that runs annually on Fridays from June through August. Held at Burton Park on Chestnut Street, the concert series is a moment to spend with the family appreciating the music and the summer breeze.
 

Schools

San Carlos public schools are mainly run by the San Carlos School District, and they offer schools for children from K through 8. There are high schools in the neighboring cities of Belmont and Redwood City.
